Calling all Daredevil fans! Our #SaveDaredevil Show Request Initiative goes live on Wednesday, March 31 and we're asking all of you to help us send Hulu and Disney+ one united message: *Revive* our Daredevil show!
IF CHARLIE MIGHT COME BACK ANYWAY, WHY ASK FOR A REVIVAL?
Despite the optimistic rumors surrounding Charlie’s possible return to Marvel, we still believe that the best way to #SaveDaredevil is to make sure the series is ALSO revived with the same cast and rating. Only thing better than Daredevil is *more* Daredevil!
SO HOW DOES THIS WORK?
On Wednesday, we’re asking Daredevil fans to submit show requests to Hulu and Disney+ so they know how much we want a Daredevil revival. We’re providing multiple ways for fans to make these requests or to provide direct feedback to both platforms about #SaveDaredevil. The goal is to send a large and concentrated amount of feedback through this coordinated effort to send in a series revival request through the Hulu and Disney+ platforms. You’ll find instructions below that walk through the options we want fans to utilize. Any important links will also included in the steps!
Why are we covering Hulu *and* Disney+?
Hulu has always been our primary focus since Hulu is Disney’s preferred platform for mature and adult focused programming. Our desire to see Daredevil return as a mature-rated show has always been an important part of our campaign platform. However, we know that Hulu is not an option for our international fanbase. This is why the show request initiative includes Disney+!
With Disney+ already integrating Star in some international markets (and we know Star features mature rated programs, including ones from Hulu), we believe this will help us cover as many bases as possible when trying to communicate to Disney about what we hope to see.
IT'S NOT WEDNESDAY YET - CAN I REQUEST NOW?
We are asking fans to wait until Wednesday, March 31 to start submitting requests, and to help spread the word of our efforts! If you're finding this *after* March 31, then go ahead and participate whenever you'd like.
Ready to walk through our show request options? Follow the instructions listed below!
OPTION #1:
Upvote our Hulu Community TV show request post (for Hulu subscribers only!)
This option is only available to fans who are also Hulu subscribers or have a Hulu account. If this isn’t you, skip down to option #2!
Step 1: Go to our published post on the Hulu Community page. NOTE: Our original post upvotes were moved over to an existing Daredevil post on the Hulu Community page. Go ahead and upvote / comment on this post, even if it doesn’t match with our original wording! The sentiment remains the same!
Step 2: At the bottom left of the post itself, there will be a black “Vote” button - click on that button to add your upvote. The more upvotes we have, the higher we’ll be on the page.
Step 3: Scroll down to the comments section and include your own thoughts about why Daredevil deserves to be revived! We would love to see as much engagement on this page as possible!
OPTION #2:
Submit #SaveDaredevil feedback + revival requests through the Hulu Help page
This option is available to all fans!
Step 1: Go to the Hulu Help page and look for the white feedback tab on the side of the page. On a computer, the tab will show up on the left hand side of the page. On a phone or in a mobile browser, it may show up on the right.
Step 2: Click on that tab, which should open up a sliding panel with more options.
Step 3: Start filling out the form - it’s important to fill it out in its entirety, otherwise you won’t be allowed to submit.
For what type of feedback would you like to leave today, click Hulu App and hit Next. Then rate the experience 5 stars (or however many stars you’d like). Next, select a feedback topic - we recommend TV and Movie Availability and in the feedback text box, write “Please revive Marvel’s Daredevil starring Charlie Cox. #SaveDaredevil” or some variation of that message. After that you can hit Next again to fill in the last two questions. Then hit Submit to send your feedback to Hulu.
OPTION #3:
Send a request to revive Marvel’s Daredevil through the Disney+ Help page
This option is available to all fans and should be the same experience on your computer or on mobile.
Step 1: Go to the Disney+ Help Center website. You can double check whether the country is showing in your correct country and language by navigating to the bottom of the page - if it’s incorrect, you can switch the country and language through the dropdown menus.
Step 2: Go back to the top of page and look for the button within the dark blue header labeled Give Feedback. Click on this button, which will open up a new pop-up window that prompts for more feedback.
Step 3: Under “What would you like to do?”, select Request a film or show. Three empty title boxes will pop up - we recommend filling in with “Revive Marvel's Daredevil with Charlie Cox #SaveDaredevil” or something similar. You can be creative, as long as the message is clear!
Step 4: Once you are finished, click Submit to ensure your feedback has been sent.
