Like our hero Matt Murdock, the team behind the Saved Daredevil movement is committed to helping others and making a difference whenever possible. We do this through our #BeTheHero Charity Initiative, where 100% of the proceeds raised from our charity auction items go to support the work of some amazing charities - past recipients included vision-based organizations like Foundation Fighting Blindness and Sightsavers - and we have cumulatively raised nearly $11,500 across all initiatives for these worthy causes.
Our next round of charity auctions will be in support of Entertainment Community Fund (formerly known as The Actors Fund), a national human services organization that fosters stability & resiliency and provides a safety net for performing arts & entertainment professionals. We are in full support of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike and hope to raise funds to support those in the industry affected by the work stoppages on so many shows and films, including Daredevil: Born Again.
